Yamaha YZF-R125 Service Manual: Troubleshooting
The starter motor fails to turn.
NOTE:
- Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seats
2. Fuel tank
3. Left lower side cowling
4. Left upper side cowling
Starting circuit cut-off system operation
If the engine stop switch is set to "

Checking the condition of the bulb sockets
The following procedure applies to all of the bulb
sockets.
1. Check:
Bulb socket (for continuity)
(with the pocket tester)
No continuity Replace.
NOTE:
Check each bulb socket for continuity in the
same manner as described in the bulb section,
however, note the following.

1. Remove:
Front wheel
Refer to "FRONT WHEEL" on page 4-6.
2. Check:
Brake disc
Damage/galling Replace.
3. Measure:
Brake disc deflection
Out of specification Correct the
brake disc

Checking the fuel line
1. Remove:
Left side panel
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1.
2. Lift the fuel tank. (Do not disconnect the fuel
hose, drain hose
3. Check:
Fuel hose "1"
Cracks/damage → Replace.
