1. Install:
- Oil pump assembly
| CAUTION: After tightening the screws, make sure the oil pump turns smoothly. |
Assembling the oil pump
1. Lubricate:
Oil pump inner rotor
Oil pump outer rotor
Oil pump driven gear
(with the recommended lubricant)
2. Install:
Oil pump outer rotor
Oil pump inner rotor "1"

Assembling the front wheel
1. Install:
Wheel bearings
Oil seal
a. Install the new wheel bearings and oil seal in
the reverse order of disassembly.
CAUTION:Do not contact the wheel bearing inner
race
"1" or balls "2". Contact should be made
only with the outer race "3".
NOTE:
Use a socket " ...
Disassembling the water pump
1. Remove:
Water pump seal "1"
NOTE:
Remove the water pump seal from the inside of
the water pump housing "2".
2. Remove:
Bearing "1"
NOTE:
Remove the bearing from the outside of the water
pump housing "2".

Assembling the crankcase
1. Thoroughly clean all the gasket mating surfaces
and crankcase mating surfaces.
2. Apply:
Sealant
(onto the crankcase mating surfaces)
NOTE:
Do not allow any sealant to come into contact
with the oil gallery.
3. Install:
Right crankcase
