1. Install:
- Bearing retainer "1"
NOTE:
- Install the bearing retainer "1" with its "OUT" mark "a" facing outward.
- Apply locking agent (LOCTITE) to the
threads of the bearing retainer bolt.
Checking the bearings and oil seal
1. Check:
Bearings
Clean and lubricate the bearings, and then
rotate the inner race with your finger.
Rough movement Replace.
Oil seal
Damage/wear Replace.

Removing the primary drive gear and balancer gears
1. Loosen:
Primary drive gear nut "1"
NOTE:
Place the aluminum plate "a" between the balancer
drive gear "2" and the balancer driven
gear "3", and then loosen the primary drive gear
nut.
2. Straighten the lock washer tab.

Balancer driven gear nut "1"
NOTE:
