1. Install:

| CAUTION: After tightening the screws, make sure the oil pump turns smoothly. |

The operation of the brake and clutch
levers should be checked before each
ride, and the lever pivots should be lubricated
if necessary.

Cleaning the air filter element
NOTE:
There is a check hose "1" at the bottom of the air
filter case. If dust and/or water collects in this
hose, clean the air filter element and air filter
case.

Checking the steering
