The starter motor fails to turn.
NOTE:
Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seats
2. Fuel tank
3. Left lower side cowling
4. Left upper side cowling

Assembling the main axle and drive axle
1. Install:
Toothed washer "1"
Circlip "2"
NOTE:
Be sure to install the circlip so that its sharp
edge "a" is facing away from the toothed washer
and gear.
Be sure the circlip ends "b" are positioned at
the axle spline groove "c".

Assembling the crankcase
1. Thoroughly clean all the gasket mating surfaces
and crankcase mating surfaces.
2. Apply:
Sealant
(onto the crankcase mating surfaces)
NOTE:
Do not allow any sealant to come into contact
with the oil gallery.
3. Install:
