Any of the following fail to light: headlight, high beam indicator light, taillight, license plate light, auxiliary light or meter light.
NOTE:
- Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seats
2. Fuel tank

9. Battery

Other materials:
Assembling the crankcase
1. Thoroughly clean all the gasket mating surfaces
and crankcase mating surfaces.
2. Apply:
Sealant
(onto the crankcase mating surfaces)
NOTE:
Do not allow any sealant to come into contact
with the oil gallery.
3. Install:
Right crankcase
NOTE:
Turn the shift drum segment ...

Leaking oil
- Bent, damaged or rusty inner tube
- Cracked or damaged outer tube
- Improperly installed oil seal
- Damaged oil seal lip
- Incorrect oil level (high)
- Loose damper rod assembly bolt
- Damaged damper rod assembly bolt copper

Checking the condition of the bulb sockets
The following procedure applies to all of the bulb
sockets.
1. Check:
Bulb socket (for continuity)
(with the pocket tester)
No continuity Replace.

same manner as described in the bulb section,
