Yamaha YZF-R125 Service Manual: Adjusting the rear wheel static balance
NOTE:
- After replacing the tire, wheel or both, the rear wheel static balance should be adjusted.
- Adjust the rear wheel static balance with the brake disc and rear wheel drive hub installed.
1. Adjust:
- Rear wheel static balance Refer to "ADJUSTING THE FRONT WHEEL STATIC BALANCE" on page 4-9.
Checking and replacing the rear wheel sprocket
1. Check:
Rear wheel sprocket
More than 1/4 tooth "a" wear
Replace the
rear wheel sprocket.
Bent teeth Replace the rear

Rear brake disc
NOTE:
Tighten the brake disc bolts in stages and in a
crisscross pattern.

Checking the cooling system
1. Remove:
Side covers
Upper side cowlings
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1.
2. Check:
Radiator "1"
Radiator inlet hose "2"
Radiator outlet hose "3"
Coolant reservoir hose "4"
Water pump breather hose "5"
Cracks/damage → Replace.
