Installing the air filter case
1. Install:
- Air filter case joint clamp
NOTE:
Align the projection "a" on the air filter case with the slot "b" in the air filter case joint clamp.

Adjusting the clutch cable free play
1. Check:
Clutch cable free play "a"
Out of specification Adjust.
2. Adjust:
Clutch cable free play
a. Pull back the rubber cover "1"
b. Loosen the locknut "2".
c. Turn the adjusting bolt "3" in direction "a" or
"b" until the specified clutch cable free play is
obtained.

Installing the piston and cylinder
1. Install:
Top ring "1"
2nd ring "2"
Oil ring expander "3"
Lower oil ring rail "4"
Upper oil ring rail "5"
NOTE:
Be sure to install the piston rings so that the
manufacturer marks or numbers face up.

NOTE:

Removing the piston
1. Remove:
Piston pin clips "1"

CAUTION:Do not use a hammer to drive the piston
pin
out.

Before removing the piston pin clip, cover the
crankcase opening with a clean rag to prevent
the piston pin clip from falling in ...
