1. Remove:
Right bottom cowling
Right upper side cowling
Right lower side cowling
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1.
2. Start the engine, warm it up for several minutes,
and then turn it off.
3. Place a container under the engine oil drain
bolt.

Checking the ignition coil
1. Check:
Primary coil resistance
Out of specification Replace.
a. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors from
the ignition coil terminals.
b. Connect the pocket tester ( × 1)
to the ignition
coil as shown.

Assembling the main axle and drive axle
1. Install:
Toothed washer "1"
Circlip "2"
NOTE:
Be sure to install the circlip so that its sharp
edge "a" is facing away from the toothed washer
and gear.
Be sure the circlip ends "b" are positioned at
the axle spline groove "c".
2. Install:
