Brake pedal
The brake pedal is on the right side of the motorcycle. To apply the rear brake, press down on the brake pedal.
Troubleshooting
Any of the following fail to light: turn signal lights, brake light or
indicator lights.
The horn fails to sound.
The fuel gauge fails to operate.
The speedometer fails to operate.

Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seats
2. Fuel tank

Chassis tightening torques
NOTE:
First, tighten the lower ring nut to approximately 48 Nm (4.8 m.kg,
35 ft.lb) with a torque wrench, then
loosen the lower ring nut completely.
Retighten the lower ring nut to 13 Nm (1.3 m.kg, 9.4 ft.lb) with a
torque wrench.

WARNING
Before installation, all internal brake components
should be cleaned and lubricated
with clean or new brake fluid.
Never use solvents on internal brake components
as they will cause the brake caliper
dust seals and piston seals to swell and
